Shopping

An address synonymous with sartorial style, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is an extension of the catwalk. The world’s most famous couturiers call this neighborhood home – which is only a five-minute walk from The Maybourne Beverly Hills.

Shopping on Rodeo Drive and Beyond

Known as the intersection of fashion royalty and rising stars, Hollywood glamour and global influence, Rodeo Drive is a truly iconic boulevard. Dedicated followers of fashion come here for Gucci, Tom Ford, Dior, Alexander McQueen, Versace and Prada – and these Rodeo Drive stores carry the houses’ full collections.

It all began with Giorgio Beverly Hills. Launching in 1961, it drew the eyes of the fashion world towards this part of the city. Today, more than 100 beautifully designed boutiques now call the three, palm-fringed blocks of Rodeo Drive home. From breakfast at Tiffany’s to early evenings spent in The House of Bijan, a day spent shopping here is rarely enough.

NEW BOUTIQUE OPENINGS:

Dita Eyewear
Eyewear brand Dita has opened up shop on North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Founded in 1995, with roots in surf culture, the luxury eyewear brand landed on Melrose Avenue before expanding to Newport Beach, San Francisco and New York City in SoHo and Madison Avenue.

Globe-Trotter
Luxury Luggage Label Globe-Trotter has ventured to Los Angeles for its First U.S. Store: Globe-Trotter, the more than 100-year-old British luggage brand, is doing a little bit of globetrotting itself. The luxury label, favored by Queen Elizabeth II, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and explorer Sir Edmund Hillary, has traveled to Los Angeles to open its first U.S. store located at 8483 Melrose Place.

Piaget
Piaget is making a renewed push to court clients in Southern California, with a new boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and an exclusive Magic Hour high jewelry set, inspired by Southern California’s David Hockney-blue skies and the legendary afternoon rays that illuminate them. (The brand opened its first Rodeo Drive salon in 2014 and moved to a temporary space on nearby Brighton in 2020.)

A cultural calendar

As well as its legendary stores, and the buzz of Rodeo Drive’s restaurants and hotels, this address entices visitors with a program of must-attend events. Established in 1995, the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance is dedicated to dads, running on Father’s Day each year. An entourage of vintage and classic cars rolls into town for one of the biggest North American rallies of its kind, and a stationary concours gives attendees an up-close look at the luxury cars. It’s the one day of the year when Rodeo Drive parking takes on a whole new look.

Restaurants

Combining fashion and fine dining, Gucci’s Osteria extends the couture experience with a rooftop restaurant serving up beautiful views. Meanwhile, The Maybourne Beverly Hills is a relaxed stroll from Rodeo Drive’s stores. Here, The Terrace is tailor-made for post-shopping cocktails and dinner as the sun goes down over Beverly Canon Gardens.
