Kindred Spirits

From couture connections and art world links to spa residencies, The Maybourne Beverly Hills is something of a magnet, drawing together the talented and talked about from across the world. Now, a series of collaborations is bringing a rolling roster of mixologists to the hotel. Kindred Spirits sees The Maybourne Bar hosting award-winning bars from L.A., North America and across the globe. And just like the perfect cocktail, it’s all about the mix.

Expect iconic names and rising stars from trophy-winning bars. Sip and savor drinks that capture moments, tell stories and have the power to transport. And discover the new-era innovators rewriting the rulebook, with fresh twists on classic recipes. Each pop-up in the series is set to be an original, yet all are united in their dedication to pushing boundaries, celebrating flavor and serving with flair – all Kindred Spirits, in the truest sense.

Drop in to The Maybourne Bar each Tuesday evening, from 7pm-10pm, for each one-night-only cocktail experience. No reservations needed, and walk-ins will be seated on a first-come, first-serve basis.


There are few better opening nights for a bar than New Year’s Eve. An overnight success, Manhattan’s Death & Co branched out to Los Angeles (and Denver and D.C.), racing up prestigious awards along the way – including Best American Cocktail Bar and World’s Best Cocktail Menu. Now, it crosses to the west side of the city, bringing the creativity and dynamism of its bartenders with it.

Housed in Los Angeles landmark, the Vibiana Cathedral rectory, Redbird’s cocktail bar takes inspiration from its timeless-meets-contemporary surrounds. With a menu by Tobin Shea, and Time Out’s Best Restaurant Bar Program in its trophy cabinet, we’re thrilled to have Redbird fly in this June.

As celebrated for its community spirit as its cocktail spirits, Wolf & Crane is a hub for those looking to sip, share ideas, unwind and let loose. Michael Francesconi’s and Matthew Glaser’s menus continue to capture imaginations, shaped around the country’s largest collection of Japanese whisky.

June 18th

Black Lagoon’s dens of inebriety glamorize the gothic, standing out from the cocktail crowd. Pop-up co-founder Erin Hayes reached the 2015 finals of Star Chef’s Rising Star Mixologist Awards, while 2020 saw her partner in mixology Kelsey Ramage bring home the Spirited Awards Best International Bartender.
